Why do you need security lighting?
For businesses and residential properties alike it is never a nice feeling leaving in the dark, which is especially a problem in the winter months. Darkness gives potential threats such as burglars an advantage which can leave building occupants feeling very unsafe. CCTV systems have little effect in poorly lit areas as the images will likely be unclear, which isn't very helpful. The dark can also cause problems with finding keys and locking / unlocking doors which can be very inconvenient. Security lighting can solve all of these problems, keeping people safe and giving them a sense of security.
What security lighting options are there?
White light improves visibility so are a good solution for helping occupants in and out of the building. These can be set up with a sensor which when triggered turns the light on, saving money and making them more environmentally friendly.
Infrared light is good for improving the quality of CCTV images without creating light polution and disrupting neigbours. It is also useful for use near roads as there is not bright light to distract drivers. Sensor trigger is also available with Infrared lighting.
